Description: |
Turning Mill Consultants, Inc. provided Category 6 and multimode fiber optic structured cabling systems design for the department's 130,000 square foot office building. Copper cabling system was awarded a 25-Year Mission Critical warranty under Hubbell and Mohawk cables Sure-Bit Warranty program. In addition the fiber optic backbone system was similarly warranted under Mohawk's SureLight program.
Construction included design of a 1,775 square foot data center and adjacent 500 square foot development and testing data center.

TMC along with the carrier's other site acq and A&E firms, were instrumental in providing MetroPCS with the roll-out of the largest new network in the Northeast, in the shortest amount of time.

Turning Mill Consultants, Inc. designed, permitted and built two microwave sites. One in New Bedford (seen here) and one on Cuttyhunk Island. The sites were built to provide backup long distance call traffic across Buzzard's Bay. One of the sites location's, in the Historic District of downtown New Bedford, made it necessary to enclose the two six foot microwave antennas within a wireless friendly enclosure, built purposefully, to blend into the urban cityscape.

Description: |
The relocation of Historic Peter Green House on the campus of Brown University required that all outside plant cabling run aerially along Olive Street be relocated underground. Turning Mill Consultants, Inc. working with the team members, helped design the underground infrastructure, which included conduit duct banks, a new maintenance hole, aerial transport across public streets and pathways through existing facilities. In all, the voice and data infrastructure for five separate buildings in two blocks were addressed.
